Congestion in Kingston, Jamaica
Dear ZIM Customer,
With shortage of labour and crane availability, we witnessed a prolonged congestion in the terminal which cause delay in vessels schedule and delay to your cargo.
We are doing our best to minimize the potential delay on your cargo. We have already diverted two of our ZCP vessels to Cartagena with another ZCP vessel plan to omit Kingston before she heads back to Asia.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and take necessary actions, including reducing our transshipment activities in Kingston and diverting more volume to alternative hub to reduce the impact of this congestion on your cargo.
